Acknowledgements

The Lawton Fort Sill Regional Growth Management Plan (the “Plan”) is the result of an ongoing partnership among community stakeholders to prepare for growth related to the mission transformation and BRAC deployment at Fort Sill. Local and state service providers also participated actively in the study and assisted in identifying critical issues and potential implementation strategies with the planning team. The Plan document represents a summary response to the region’s collaborative and collective effort to establish a unified and consistent approach to the challenges facing their communities, thereby creating and sustaining an enhanced quality of life and prosperity throughout the Lawton/Fort Sill region.

Critical to the success of this planning effort was the work and involvement of the key community leaders listed below. These BRAC Coordination Committee members served as strong advocates for the region and provided valuable input to the planning team as key issues were identified and potential solutions were evaluated. In addition, the respective Technical Subcommittees provided detailed insights and reviews of the various subject areas within the scope of the planning study.
